Simple Over Head Tank Alarm

Description
This is a simple overhead tank alarm used to stop overflow of water from the tank. At the same time to save power. It is some what different from those alarms that are available in market. Those alarm are automated and costs round about Rs 1500. This alarm is operated manually (which cost only Rs 120 approximately) which is described as follows.
Working
Arrange the equipment as show in the picture. Keep the alarm piece as per your convenience in the room. Then place the other ends of two terminals (Wires) in the tank
At the desired level that you want (Such that the alarm stars beeping when the water come to desired level).as shown in the picture. Then simply switch off your motor at the same time the alarm switch when the alarm stars beeping.
NOTE: When ever you want to fill the tank, you need to remember to switch on the alarm switch too. This is provided with the alarm equipment. And switch off when the alarm starts beeping.
Advantages
• Simple in look
• Cost is very low
• Easy to install
• No problem of current short circuit
• Motor is safe.
• Works on battery( replace battery for 1 month 15 days if needed)
Disadvantages:
• Wire length needed is some what large
• It doesn't t switch off the motor by its own (it should be done manually)
• It just gives indication to the user to switch off the running motor.
